Terms of Service

Last updated: May 18, 2026

1. Service Description

BizPilot is a multi-vertical software platform that provides AI-powered subject matter experts for small business professionals. The platform currently supports roofing contractors, HVAC contractors, plumbing contractors, restoration contractors, public adjusters, and personal injury attorneys. The Service includes conversational AI assistance tuned to each supported trade, collective outcome intelligence data aggregated per vertical, and proactive job analytics (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not a Substitute for Professional Advice

BizPilot provides informational content only. We are not a licensed attorney, insurance adjuster, public adjuster, licensed contractor, or licensed insurance professional. Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, insurance, medical, or professional advice — including with respect to personal injury practice, public adjusting, or any regulated trade.

AI-generated responses about carrier tactics, supplement line items, demand strategy, settlement valuation, or claim approach reflect general information and user-submitted data — not guarantees of any outcome. Carrier and court decisions are made by third parties, not by BizPilot.

Always consult a qualified licensed professional in your jurisdiction for advice specific to your situation. You are solely responsible for how you use the information provided by the Service. Attorneys using the Service remain solely responsible for compliance with their applicable rules of professional conduct, including those governing the unauthorized practice of law and the use of artificial intelligence in legal work.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Service you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when using the Service
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, circumvent access controls, or misuse the Service
  • Not use the Service to generate false, misleading, or fraudulent insurance claims or documentation
  • Not use the Service to harass, harm, or defraud any third party
  • Not share your account with others or resell access to the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these responsibilities.

4. Subscription and Billing

BizPilot offers Free, Pro, and Pro Plus subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Current pricing is available at bizpilot.app/#pricing. All fees are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes.

By providing payment information, you authorize BizPilot to charge the applicable subscription fees on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features through the end of the period you have already paid for.

We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, your subscription remains active until the end of that month and no refund is issued for unused days. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days at support@bizpilot.app.

6. Limitation of Liability

BizPilot is a software tool that provides information to assist your work. BizPilot does not guarantee any insurance claim outcome, supplement approval, or payment result. Claim decisions are made by insurance carriers and are beyond our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BizPilot and its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for:

  • Claim denials or partial approvals by insurance carriers
  • Financial losses arising from reliance on AI-generated information
  • Errors, interruptions, or downtime of the Service
  • Unauthorized access to your account by third parties
  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

In all cases, BizPilot's total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to BizPilot in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, AI systems, collective intelligence data, and platform software, is owned by BizPilot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written consent.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (your messages, uploaded documents, and logged outcomes). By submitting content, you grant BizPilot a limited license to process and store that content solely to provide the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
